Present and future
Currently we are moving away from past accreditation systems and are working towards a complete company safety management and quality assurance system that combines all of the past accreditations into one. Work is well underway on building a robust Cloud-based quality assurance system that works on continual evaluation and improvement. The Cloud-based system allows all staff and customers to be actively involved with the system and control compliance and quality assurance. Compliance reports are able to quickly be generated showing alert actions taken and status. Below are the 13 elements of an SMS system we are building on as we move towards a CAA approved SMS system in accordance with CAR Rule Part 100. This system is audited internally by both CAA and Work Safe, who hold a number of delegations for different regulations.
1) Safety policy and accountability
2) Coordinated emergency response planning (ERP)
3) Development, control and maintenance of safety management documentation
4) Hazard identification
5) Risk management
6) Safety investigation
7) Monitoring and measuring safety performance
8) Management of change
9) Continuous improvement of the SMS
10) Internal audit programme
11) Management review
12) Safety training and competence
13) Communication of safety-critical information
14) Quality assurance
Part of ensuring quality assurance is also having the correct insurances for the work we carry out. Rotor Work Limited has all the relevant Insurance Policies to carry out all Commercial Operations in farming, forestry and air transport. Please contact us if you wish to view or discuss our policies.
