Overview
Pauanui is a small town on the east coast of the Coromandel Peninsula, directly opposite Tairua. Pauanui is well worth making a trip to with many beautiful sites and fun activities. If you’ve packed your walking shoes and your camera then a climb up Mt Pauanui will ensure stunning views over the township and landscape. If relaxing is at the top of your list, then lying on the sandy beach at Pauanui will deliver those calm vibes. For a quick scenic stroll, the Tangatarori Lane Boardwalk is a fabulous walk. You might just want to eat at a local café, then play a round of mini golf. Once again, the options are aplenty. Return flight back to Whitianga Airfield.
